USI spent a week up in Virginia Beach. I fished every day. I used my old style fishing rigs and bait the first day with little luck. The next day I tied on a Hey skipper catch all rig and used the shrimpy bits with the clamy bits. I couldn’t keep the fish off the hook. My buddy was surprised how many fish I was catching. I highly recommend getting the weekender. I should have bought more bait though. I was able to catch multiple fish on one piece of shrimp. Some of the fish I caught on the rigs was Flounder, whiting, croaker, blue fish, stingrays and skates. Thank you Brendon and Erin for such a great product. If you are planing to fish for a week strait spend the extra money and get the bigger bait box. You will not be disappointed!!
USFished alongside six friends at Core Banks last week. Same rigs, same locations. They used cut fresh mullet and fresh shrimp. I used salted clam and shrimp. They caught fish. I did not. This bait reminds me of using artificial lures. Easy to use. Great for a day of beach sitting. Nice box, nice rigs.
